The creation of The Persnickety Bride has been an evolution.

My career started as a senior buyer for a large retailer of over 1,200 stores. It was there that I learned my lessons in trends, style and what drives the American consumer.

I started my first company, DBP & Associates, Inc. in 1994 as a sales and marketing organization in the gift, stationery, book and music businesses. It still exists today, allowing me to work with major retailers across the country and supply them the best product we represent.  

I've always been a career driven person, but found my  true love and best friend, Cary in 1999.   In November of 2001 we married.  Ten years and three children later our love and joy have grown… ten fold.

Planning our wedding was one of the most fun and exciting things I have ever done. It was easy and seamless because I knew what I wanted and when I wanted it. Not a moment of panic went into planning – just the sheer joy of knowing that what I was doing would work. It is with this expertise and mindset I decided to start The Persnickety Bride.  

Our staff has been assembled to help you, the bride to be. Your excitement and desires are what drive us to perfection. We are "persnickety" so you don't have to be. You can relax while we dot every I and cross all those T's. There is no higher compliment than one from a happy bride once she has received her wedding stationery and accessories. Nothing makes our heart sing more than watching her happily cross those items off her to-do list.
